What We See, What We Don't

Privacy Policy

Last updated May 19, 2026. Terms · Privacy · Refunds · Abuse

Your media is yours. This page lays out what data we touch to run MediaNest, and what we don't.

What We Collect

  • Your email, username, and password, so you can log in.
  • Your billing history, so we can charge you correctly.
  • Basic server stats (CPU, memory, disk, bandwidth), to bill fairly and catch problems.
  • A log of staff actions on your account, so we can answer "why did this happen?" later.

What We Don't Collect

  • Your files. Ever.
  • What you watch, when you watch it, or who you watch with.
  • Your Plex login, indexer keys, or any other secrets your apps hold. Those stay inside your Nest.
  • Tracking cookies, ad pixels, or analytics scripts. The site is tracker-free.

Who Else Sees Your Data

To run MediaNest we use a small set of trusted vendors:

  • The companies that host our servers (in Canada and Germany).
  • A payment processor for Bitcoin invoices.
  • An email service to send you receipts and reset links.
  • A DNS provider for the domain names.

We do not use Google, Facebook, or any ad-network trackers.

Your Rights

  • Export. We'll hand you a copy of your account data on request.
  • Delete. Close your account and your data is removed within two weeks.
  • Correct. Update anything from your dashboard, or contact us if you can't reach it.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed (we can't read them). Servers use key-based access only. If you spot something wrong, open a ticket from your dashboard or email admin@medianest.stream. We reply within 48 hours.

Changes

We update this policy as the service evolves. Big changes get emailed to active customers 30 days ahead.
